On May 22, 2025, at the University of Milan on Via Festa del Perdono, room 433, the study day “DIG.IT – New Perspectives for Digital Archaeology in Italy” will take place. The event aims to explore the use of digital tools in current archaeological research. It is intended as an opportunity for dialogue among Italian archaeologists who regularly use digital technologies in their work—ranging from GIS and geostatistics to databases and artificial intelligence—even across different areas of study such as preventive archaeology, heritage protection, and academic research.
